Preparation

Matthew 5:1 “And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him. “

Jesus took time to prepare himself before giving the Sermon on the Mount to the multitude. I can follow His example by giving myself time to prepare before teaching, answering questions, making decisions or just about anything that is required of me.

Prayed all night

Luke 6:12 “And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.”

The next day he called 12 apostles. When I have big assignments in front of me, I can do as Jesus did and spend some time in prayer to God.
